On the weekend I was able to decorate the vintage wedding in the monastery Haydau by Hanna and Philipp. It is always a dream to decorate there and the weather was fabulous. With the hall Kappelberg I was in another location and the wedding took place in the beautiful monastery courtyard.
It’s always fascinating how you can turn a conference room into a vintage dream with just a few simple steps. With round tablecloths in apricot, old books, small birdcages, pink candle holders, wildflowers and vintage candles, and rolled napkins with Eucalyptus twigs, we’ve transformed the tables into a summer vintage look.
Lots of apricot, pink, white and light green lanterns hung from the ceiling with hoops and small accents on the windowsills and corners further enhanced the space.
The monastery courtyard does not need much decoration, because he is so beautiful. The white chairs, the birch arch with lace curtain and floral arrangement and the flower rods with the small bird cages with matching floristry were enough for a dreamlike ambience.
Hanna and Philipp I wish you all the best!
